Both adults and children will feel at home in the Landhotel Postgut in Obertauern. Having children ourselves, we like to offer very family-friendly deals.

The children of our guests have fun in our playground. A lot of our pets and animals may be touched gently. And guess what? You can whisper your little secrets in their ears. They will understand it and keep it.

Connected to the Landhotel Postgut is a horse farm, where we specialise in breeding the famous Noriker horses. The whole family can enjoy the Noriker horses, which you are able to ride. They are all well trained riding horses and are well-suited to beginners and the more advanced rider. If you do not ride, it is certainly fun to watch the horses on the pastures or in the stables. Or why not take the family on a romantic horse drawn sleigh ride through the winter landscape of Obertauern or a horse drawn carriage ride in the summer?. It is so much fun.

This summer the well-known artist Ulli Pistora will offer summer painting classes for children. They will learn how to use pastels und graphite pencils, acrylic paints on wallpaper and canvas. During the four-day course Ulli will show them how to find ideas and motifs in the wonderful nature around them. Your children will also produce some large colorful summer paintings.
